  • Option 1: Subscribers: 500, Public uploads, last 90 days: 3 uploads, Public watch hours, last 12 months: 3,000 hours
  • Option 2: Subscribers: 500, Public uploads, last 90 days: 3 uploads, Shorts views, last 90 days: 3,000,000 views

Unlocks: Fan funding (memberships, Super Chat and more) and YouTube Shopping

  • Follow the monetization policies, turn on 2-Step Verification and link one AdSense for YouTube account.
  • This tier is open in listed countries, including the US.

YouTube Partner Program ad revenue (current thresholds)

Applies to creators joining through Jan 31, 2027.

  • Option 1: Subscribers: 1,000, Public watch hours, last 12 months: 4,000 hours
  • Option 2: Subscribers: 1,000, Shorts views, last 90 days: 10,000,000 views

Unlocks: Ad revenue sharing and YouTube Premium revenue

  • Watch hours from Shorts in the Shorts Feed don't count toward the 4,000 hours.
  • Hitting the numbers lets you apply. A review still decides.

Applies from Feb 1, 2027.

  • Option 1: Subscribers: 1,000, Public watch hours, last 12 months: 8,000 hours
  • Option 2: Subscribers: 1,000, Shorts views, last 90 days: 20,000,000 views

Unlocks: Ad revenue sharing and YouTube Premium revenue

  • Applies to new creators. Channels already in YPP keep their status.
  • The 500-subscriber tier (fan funding, Shopping) doesn't change.

Twitch Affiliate requirements

  • Followers: 25, Hours streamed, last 30 days: 4 hours, Days streamed, last 30 days: 4 days, Stream days with 3+ average concurrent viewers, last 30 days: 4 days

Unlocks: An invitation to the Affiliate program

  • All four have to be met within the last 30 days.
  • The 3 viewers are concurrent viewers, not total views. Days below 3 don't count against you.
  • You must turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to start Affiliate onboarding.

Twitch Partner requirements: Path to Partner

  • Streams at 75+ average viewers on unique days, last 30 days: 6 streams, Streams at 75+ average viewers on unique days, 30 to 60 days ago: 6 streams

Unlocks: The Partner program. Partners get a share of Bits revenue at 1 cent per Bit

  • For the two consecutive months before you apply, you need at least 6 streams per 30 days at 75 or more average viewers.
  • Streams under 75 average viewers don't count toward Path to Partner.
  • Viewership from Front-Page Promotions or Embeds doesn't count.
  • Suspension history is considered. Applying does not guarantee Partnership.
  • Days and months are in GMT. Chatbots are not counted as viewers.

SOOP Best Streamer minimum requirements

  • Streaming hours (period not stated in source): 100 hours, Loyal viewers (definition not stated in source): 500, Stream days, last 3 months: 30 days, Streamer education courses taken: 5 courses

Unlocks: Applying for Best Streamer selection (applications open from the 1st to the 14th each month)

  • This is not a monetization requirement. SOOP's page is about Best Streamer selection, not the conditions for earning tools such as Star Balloons.
  • No suspension in the last 3 months. Password-protected and unlisted streams don't count as stream days.
  • The source doesn't say what period the 100 hours cover or how loyal viewers are defined, so none is added here.
  • Meeting the minimum doesn't guarantee selection: the final score must be 75 or higher (40 to 100 are chosen). After selection, stream at least 5 days and 15 hours a month.
